Carolyn Rose is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has been providing psychotherapeutic services to children, adults and families since 2011. Carolyn has worked with children and families in the DCF and foster care systems of care since 2008.
Carolyn uses a combination of therapeutic counseling approaches all focused on helping clients become their personal best. Helping clients gain confidence in who they are and empowering clients to deal with past traumas, hurts and low points assists them in achieving their best life. Carolyn’s areas of expertise include anxiety management, depression, autism spectrum disorders, mood and chronic mental health disorders, family conflict, abuse/trauma, and grief & loss. Some treatment modalities adopted in her practice include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Art and Play Therapy Techniques, and Solution Focused Therapy.
