Ginny Sale is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and EMDR trained therapist. She specializes in providing therapy for individuals seeking therapy for trauma/PTSD, substance abuse, anxiety and depression.
She earned her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Palm Beach Atlantic University. Ginny brings several years of experience as a mental health therapist for trauma survivor, substance abuse and dual-diagnosis clients, in both the treatment center and private counseling settings.
Ginny’s approach to therapy is strength based and client centered. She is skilled in utilizing EMDR Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). She assists clients in identifying and addressing negative core beliefs about self that can serve as roadblocks to achieving overall health and well-being. She works with clients to facilitate moving through “stuck points” to be able to find freedom from these problems.
In her spare time, Ginny enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys volunteering for the kids’ ministry at her church. She has two small dogs who she describes as “my babies.” Age 9 and 10, Mojo and Gizmo have previously attended and assisted with group therapy sessions. Ginny enjoys outdoor activities including, kayaking, hiking, fishing, boating and reading on the beach. She is also a pretty good cook and enjoys being in the role of hostess.
