Nancy Woolley is a recent Capella University graduate with an MS in Mental Health Counseling. She interned under Carrie Longest, MS, LMHC, RPT-S. Nancy has an extensive background working with at-risk teens and their families, initially in a residential program and currently in a non-residential setting. She provides guidance and support for various issues such as divorce, domestic violence, sexual abuse, child abuse, substance use, criminal offences, behavioral issues, relationship issues, family issues, suicidal ideations, self-harm, grief and loss and much more.
Nancy utilizes strengths-based cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, and play therapy techniques as an approach to depression, anxiety, relationship issues, grief and loss, trauma and more. Her style is empathetic and genuine, which fosters the type of counseling relationship that improves positive outcomes. Her experience includes children, adults, couples, and families. She welcomes all ages, genders and diversity.
