Katherine Webb
MS, LMHC, LMFT
Katherine Webb is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist who began providing psychotherapeutic services in 2013 after working for many years in the child welfare and criminal justice arenas.
Prior to joining Ingram and Associates, Katherine served as a clinician in the Central Florida area. Her approach to therapy has been shaped by past experiences that provided unique insight into various family dynamics, traumas, and other stressors that lead to anxiety, depression, grief, or social behaviors that create distress. She believes in establishing a safe, trusting, non-judgmental environment with open lines of honest communication while working toward therapeutic goals. Katherine has volunteered as a Guardian-ad Litem, thus enhancing a desire to assist families involved in the family court systems. She has also served numerous clients who have been victims of domestic/family violence, sexual assault, and other forms of emotional or physical trauma.
Katherine utilizes an integrative, strength-based approach which often includes Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), and Solution Focused strategies, Family Systems interventions, and other evidence based modalities geared toward the specific needs and goals of each client. Part of this process involves identifying unhelpful thoughts and feelings while clients develop healthy coping skills and navigate life’s challenges.
Katherine has received specialized training in trauma-focused CBT, parenting skills, and anger management skills. She has also a special interest in assisting parents with children entering therapy with a diagnosis of Attention Deficit Disorder.
Katherine Webb strives to maintain an awareness of cultural diversity in all relationships. She welcomes adults, adolescents, and teens of all ethnicities, genders, and faiths. Call 561-792-9242 today to schedule an appointment with Katherine Webb.
