Gwendolyn Shehorn is a graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic University, where she obtained her master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling. She specializes in helping clients navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship struggles, and self-esteem issues. With a focus on creating a compassionate and supportive environment, Gwendolyn is dedicated to guiding individuals toward meaningful change and empowering them to live fulfilling, authentic lives.
Gwendolyn’s approach is rooted in mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and person-centered therapy. She works collaboratively with clients to reframe unhelpful thoughts, understand emotions, and foster healthier relationships with themselves and others. For children, she incorporates play therapy to promote emotional expression and resilience in a creative and safe space.
Gwendolyn has experience providing therapeutic services in an inpatient psychiatric hospital, a rehabilitation center, and as an elementary school teacher. With a commitment to compassionate care, Gwendolyn empowers clients to overcome challenges and embark on their healing journeys.
